15 Floral Appliqué Wedding Gowns Inspired By NYBFW
One of our favourite trends to emerge from October 2023's NYBFW was floral appliqué. We are suckers for a floral detail and it's always a treat to see multiple gowns from all of the designers embracing the romance and femininity of florals. From delicate floral appliqué embellishments, to larger bold floral motifs, to the sweetest of detailing on straps, to a floral trim on the edge of a veil - there's a way to wear florals for everyone.
Here's our favourite floral appliqué looks from bridal week, along with some of the best floral appliqué wedding dresses on the high street to shop now. And if you're just starting the search for your wedding dress, we'd recommend reading how to choose your wedding dress and not regret it.
Bold Floral Appliqué Bridal Dresses
If you're going to embrace the florals trend, then you may as well go big. Ese Azenabor really brought the drama to fashion week with huge ruffled organza flowers and completely embellished bridal gowns that offered just the right level of kitsch. Florals don't need to be delicate either, as seen at Enaura and Valentini. A large floral design feels super modern and elegant.
