From stylist, Aly Ann Events: "Nestled in the heart of downtown San Diego, Studio 710 was the perfect setting for Dear Lovers Photography to capture the natural light on film. The husband and wife team strategically styled the models to showcase the simple elegance of this creative space.
We drew our inspiration from the local beauty of San Diego’s coastline. From the Del Mar beaches to Coronado’s Ferry Landing, we wanted to incorporate the city’s charm through intentional details. Aileen with Plume Calligraphy executed this design gracefully through her minimalistic stationary suite that pulled the cool blues of the Pacific Ocean. The hand torn menus and vellum seating cards were a beautiful compliment to our modern twist on a traditional seaside tablescape. Likewise, Taya of Compass Floral, designed a bridal bouquet of cream and yellow tones that were a great representation of the golden coast. She aligned this design with a gorgeous driftwood installation that hung among the models. Additionally, she used pampas grass to bring a unique texture to the bridal portraits which the film scans showcased beautifully. The result was simple and refined, exactly how Beauty Bespoken makes brides feel. The bridal gowns were selected from The Dress Theory in Hillcrest. They were soft and romantic, a lovely compliment to the brand Sarah Anne has built. Likewise, we were elated to feature two of Susie Saltzman's one of a kind rings. She combines tradition with modern romance seamlessly.
The final piece of our design included the gorgeous rental collection provided by Adore Folklore. Unlike many tablescapes, our design highlighted a variety of neutral tones and used light blue velvet chairs to bring our color story to life. The result was incredible and so unique."
