6-most Instagrammable sites to visit on your Dubai honeymoon
Dubai is the perfect honeymoon destination for couples who love cosmopolitan cities with oodles of glitz, glamour and excitement around every corner. Effortlessly fusing native Arabian traditions with luxuries of the West, Dubai is a cultural melting pot with unforgettable experiences and a diverse medley of cuisines.
During your romantic Dubai honeymoon, there are plenty of fun-filled activities and must-see places to keep you busy. Dubai wedding photographer Shay Photography shares her top Instagrammable sites in Dubai, from sailing along on a luxury yacht to soaring up to the observation deck at the Burj Khalifa.
1. Desert safari
Whether you fancy a serene sunrise camel ride or adrenaline-fulled dune bashing adventure, Dubai's vast desert has to be seen to be truly appreciated. There's something for everyone, from sand-boarding and quad-biking to a tranquil safari in a vintage Land Rover, with a guide on hand to snap those all-important Instagram pics.
2. Stunning views from the Burj Khalifa
As the highest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa is Dubai’s most iconic destination and not-to-be missed. There are three observation decks, the highest of which is At the Top SKY at 555 meters above ground. You can also visit the world’s highest lounge and enjoy drinks and canapés with breath-taking views.
Sunset is the busiest time at the Burj Khalifa (4-6pm) where you'll get the best views, but also the biggest crowds. If you're looking to visit at a quieter time, go for early mornings or late in the evening before closing. Booking is advised.
3. L'eto Cafe Secret Garden
There are several locations of the gorgeous L'eto Cafe in Dubai but the Secret Garden location on City Walk is definitely the most photogenic. Expect a dramatic pink floral backdrop and exquisite patisserie treats that are equally delicious and beautiful.
4. White beach
As with most of Dubai’s landscapes, most of its beaches are newly made, which means they are manicured to postcard-like levels of beauty. Some cater to families, with lifeguard towers and amenities, while others are more secluded, where you can have the beach pretty much to yourself.
The best beach for couples has to be White Beach, a private beach club with its own stretch of powder-soft sand in the Atlantis Dubai resort. The infinity pool and plush sun loungers are perfect for Instagram selfies, while the excellent service ensures you barely need to lift a finger. The views over Dubai Marina are pretty special too.
5. Private yacht cruise
Explore the top Instagrammable landmarks of Dubai from the water with a luxurious private yacht tour at sunrise or sunset. Departing from the Dubai marina, you'll take in iconic spots including Atlantis The Palm, Burj Al Arab and Ain Dubai (the largest ferris wheel in the world).
6. Al Seef Heritage Hotel
On the banks of Dubai Creek, the Al Seef Heritage Hotel delivers the wonders of Emirati culture in Dubai Old City. Expect antique-style decor, with vintage-inspired luggage trolleys and service bells on the check-in counters. Traditional communal courtyards house wooden seesaws and swings, weathered baskets, treasure chests and majlis-style floor seating. Guests can visit the famous spice and gold souks by water taxi, then access the pool, spa, and fitness center at nearby Canopy by Hilton Dubai Al Seef.
