Beach picnic engagement shoot in Big Sur
If you're ever in doubt over where to hold your engagement shoot, head to your closest beach! You simply can't go wrong with the relaxed vibe of strolling across the sand hand-in-hand and watching the sunset as you enjoy a romantic picnic together. We're totally in love with this dreamy engagement shoot in Big Sur, captured by Charleston wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Clay Austin.
"We rented a 1965 Ford Mustang for the day and drove up and down Highway 1, because how else can you take in all that Big Sur has to offer!?" explains Clay. "We started off at Point Lobos State Park and continued on to the iconic Pfeiffer Beach for a gorgeously curated picnic. Once the sun was setting we scurried up to a nearby lookout to watch the last drips of sunlight while sharing some cake. It was the perfect afternoon on the California coast."
