Blush and Bordeaux Sunrise Bridal Editorial in Oregon
We've said time and time again - the Oregon coast is one of the most mystifying, enchanting places. The sprawling beaches, unmoved and undisturbed from the draw of the tide, look so placid and beautiful. We were blown away when we opened this gallery by photographer Katie Nicolle and stylist Stacey Foley (also a fabulous blogger!)... the sheer beauty! From the decadent sunbeams piercing the slightly misty air to the stunning blush Emily Riggs pieces, to those blooms, ohhh those blooms. One of our favorite design elements of this pensive Oregon session is certainly the organic florals with hints of blush and deeper tones like this pretty bordeaux color. So much to the inspired by here...
From stylist Stacey Foley: "The ocean spoke to her in a way that only she understood. It knew her secrets, her passions, her loves. It held them with the utmost care and she often wandered back to this place to reminisce and remember. Today was different though, for today was the start of something new. Something grand. Today was her wedding day.
Our inspiration for this sunrise morning session was one of love and beauty. Walking among her favorite place, one that she holds so dear to her heart, our bride enjoys the warm sun on her face while dreaming of the moments ahead. This day is her wedding day. The day that she will be surrounded by those that love her, but in this moment it’s just her and the ocean.
This vision was brought to life for Katie Nicolle’s recent Oregon Coast workshop. We wanted to create a scene that was reflective of the sunrise. The color palette of pinks, blushes and deep purples makes me dream of a beautiful sunrise over the deep ocean. Emily Riggs provided the perfect gown that was accented beautifully with a deep purple bouquet created by Foraged Floral. Kirstie Wight mastered natural perfection with our brides soft and effortless look. Rachel Jacobson {stationery} and Trumpet & Horn {ring} were the perfect partners in creating those beautiful finishing touches."
