Boudoir Session for a Groom’s Gift
Eek! We are huge advocates of meaningful gifts (see here, we even dedicated an entire blog post to the idea) and today's stunner of a boudoir session is just that. Meaningful. The impossibly beautiful Janna Brown, who just happens to be a very talented stylist herself, dreamed up this sultry boudoir session for her hubby. We're inspired by the thought behind the gift, the intricate embellishments in the vintage Gossamer gown, the delicate La Perla bra, and the moody feel of the entire shoot captured by film photographer Katie Hyatt at Laura Catherine Organic Photographs...
From stylist (and gorgeous model!) Janna Brown: "Each year my husband and I seek out the most unique gifts to exchange on our anniversary, and our third anniversary was no different. I reached out to my sweet friend Katie Hyatt and asked if she would be willing to shoot a boudoir of sorts for my husband. Of course she agreed and offered to hand craft a leather pouch to encapsulate the printed images, as the traditional gift of the third year is leather. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Charleston on a rainy weekend, floating through the lamppost lit streets, filling our hearts and our bellies at every turn. Over dinner I presented him with his gift and to watch his face light up over each image was such more than I could have hoped for."
