Bridal designer spotlight: Giambattista Valli
Italian bridal designer Giambattista Valli was one of the shining stars at the recent Barcelona Fashion Week 2024. Valli showcased 30 extraordinary designs that captured his vision of contemporary bridal dressing, combining clean lines, voluminous silhouettes and unexpected details.
The designer presented ten gowns from his newest Love Collection 3, alongside iconic Haute Couture designs from previous collections. Inspired by the magnificence and the expertise of the ateliers, Valli steps away from classic wedding rituals, instead focusing on the significance of true emotion in the moment and the joy of celebration. The prestigious designer was delighted after the show and said that, "Barcelona's romantic and cosmopolitan atmosphere matches perfectly with the theme of my collection, which celebrates love and romance.”
