Cozy Morning Engagement in Greece

Have you, too, been swooning over sweet, simple, and intimate at-home engagement sessions? Fancy trying one for your own engagement photographs? We say YES.

After being completely charmed by this fun and loving couple as photographed by both Les Anagnou and Justine Milton, we thought about what key styling elements made this session so endearing. Stylist Think Happy Events used a soft, serene, and monochromatic color palette of primarily white and pale blue. The couple engaged in natural activities that they might genuinely take part in, during a relaxed Sunday morning (morning cuddles? breakfast? yes!). And the details were far from "perfect" - do you have your sleep shirt perfectly pressed and your hair perfectly curled? Absolutely no way! The key is to be as natural and comfortable as possible and voila!

From co-host Les Anagnou: "Phos workshop took place earlier this April in Spetses Island. We invited our attendees to experience light – phos in Greek – in photography with a different approach. We wanted to try something different and showcase who morning light can bring out authentic feelings in the coziest ambience a couple can be in- at their home. Located in a 1800s villa, with an amazing sea view, our couple had one of those intimate mornings when all you want to do is snooze in bed as the sun rises. We photographed the couple in those small ordinary moments, when love is expressed by making coffee for your significant other or making breakfast together. Our couple experienced a slow spring morning in the island and we had the chance to capture true intimacy through our lens. The morning light brightened the house and the faces of this couple proving how everyday life can accentuate romanticism and intensify real feelings."
