Feminine Rose and Mauve Malibu Wedding Inspiration
As we went through the incredible photographs from Donny Zavala's latest workshop in Malibu, we were instantly whisked away to this beautiful day. Malibu itself is such an iconic place with a wide array of landscapes like rolling hills and the vast ocean. Pair the breathtaking mountain tops seen at Malibu Rocky Oaks with an epic blush Musat and you've got yourself one remarkable scene. World renowned designer Joy Proctor truly outdid herself with intentional, artfully placed styling elements like the velvet rose colored linen from La Tavola Linen complementing the mauve-toned blooms by Penty of Petals... so much perfection, this day was certainly something we will never forget!
From Donny Zavala: "The latest edition of the Donny Zavala Workshop lead us to beautiful Malibu, California where the weather always seems to be fair and beautiful throughout the year. With this in mind, it was a sure bet that we’d look no further than Malibu Rocky Oaks as the workshop venue location. The location is without a doubt one of the most sought after locations in the wedding industry with dramatic backdrops and amazing views. It was here where our attendees were treated to four, one of kind editorial shoots. In particular, our “Romantic Old World Editorial” featuring a most dramatic blush tone Musat Designer Wedding Gown. Combined with the 2018’s Pantone color palette this shoot was pure elegance teaming with a sophisticated yet subtle gown that sure made a statement with our attendees and vendors. Adding to it an amazing 2018 Pantone color palette tables cape, complete with seating for twenty and blooms by the Plenty of Petals makes this editorial a standard for 2018! Joy Proctor’s visions and direction for this particular shoot came together so effortlessly creating an editorial that embodies fine art at its best."
