From stylist Federica Beni: "The wish to tell beautiful stories, the passion for minimalistic and contemporary designs started not long ago and most of all the email received by one of the top world photographer telling me that she was in Europe and would have liked to work together on a project. I had visited Casa Olivi in Spring last year (it’s just 30 minutes drive from my home) and I was fascinated by its atmosphere and by the combination of natural elements like stone and wood and the minimalistic design of its interior, as well as the beautiful view from the pool. I realized at once that this was a unique chance to design an editorial in such an inspiring and “immaculate” venue (the marked of editorials is so saturated that there are venues where everyone shoots and this is not what I usually looking for for my projects, aiming to have always the first choice on everything) and to finally express my creativity in something different from what the market asked for during the past few years. No gold, no opulence, no unlimited pops of colour but a design that was perfectly following the environment, with neutral shades able to mix with the ones of the interiors and of the simple and beautiful outdoor spaces and a contemporary but elegant design, with an eye on the textures which are always present in all my projects. Consequently all the single aspects of the design, from the choice of the bridal gowns to the concept of the table setting have been managed keeping in mind two basic words; minimal and simple design with an endless elegance.

For what concerns the floral arrangements, I experimented for the first time in my projects the combination of dried and fresh ones, in particular this ones consisted in beautiful roses which Evelina, the floral designer, usually works in a way that they look giant and simply stunning. No opulence even for the floral arrangements on the table setting, keeping all so simple and refined. We wanted to make this project looking as much realistic as possible, so guests and most of all foods, considering how foods styling is becoming more and more popular. This is why I included a food blogger and stylist with whom I had the chance to collaborate a few years ago. She is a perfect chef and her way of styling sets is so natural and so much matching with the vision I have of an elegant but organic foods design.
Such an incredible experience, as each time I work with an amazing team and we end up creating a strong relationship as human beings before than as professionals, which is absolutely necessary to me."
