Long Sleeved Wedding Dresses from Bridal Week
We came, we saw, and we conquered another New York Bridal Fashion Week. Collectively, our team attended over 30 shows and appointments; and while it was a marathon of events, we absolutely cherished the labor of love each designer presented during this four-day affair.
As with every year, each new collection was breathtaking in its own way, but there were a few long sleeved wedding dresses that absolutely stood out. So ahead, here is a list of our top picks from the Fall 2023 season.
We love a good sunglasses-with-wedding-dress moment, and this lace wedding dress from Reem Acra delivers it. The lace sleeve is delicate enough that it doesn’t take away from the classic detailing but still makes a statement on its own.
When we first saw this show-stopping lace gown from Reem Acra's latest collection 'Sweet Dreams', our jaws dropped! The combination of intricate lace detailing and pink veil creates the most regal and romantic look. Not to mention, the A-line silhouette is flattering on all brides!
Grace Loves Lace's bridal collection 'Memoirs of Her' is an absolute stunner and this beautiful dress is no exception. With a stunning silhouette and a cascading train, the shell of the design alone is worth fawning over. But the unique lace pattern bring the spunk and charm that makes the dress stand above the rest.
There’s something so elegant about this long-sleeve gown from Galia Lahav's Fall 2023 collection. The deep V front, the removable skirt, and the all-over embroidery add a romantic touch to the ensemble, while the deep V-back gives it a bold edge. This would be the perfect dress to accompany your Lake Como nuptials or luxury hotel wedding!
Inspired by modern architecture and organic design, Inbar Freiman's gowns are made for the bride who values detail, quiet elegance, timeless silhouettes, and uncompromising quality, both in material and craft. The long loose sleeves are reminiscent of a boho wedding look and would be perfect for that beach or destination wedding.
Aptly named “Garden of Love,” the Justin Alexander Signature 2023 collection showcases luxurious designs inspired by the gardens of the Italian Renaissance - a place close to his heart personally as he just returned from honeymoon there with his new wife Kelsey! “These gardens exude romance, sophistication, and attention to detail in the same way our new collection was crafted,” the website states. The breathtaking floral appliqués and intricate hand-beading capture the essence of the whimsical Tuscan gardens, while the plunging necklines, thigh-high slits, and sheer detailing add a daring edge to the gowns. Just check out the bespoke embroidery Justin placed in his wife's sleeve above! You can also watch his interview from New York Bridal Week right here.
