Our Favorite Nashville Hotel - Thompson Hotel
It seems funny, but truly Nashville is one of the best 'wedding industry' epicenters in this country. Countless incredible wedding professionals call this beautiful, lively city home, which makes it even more fun when we head down South. On a recent trip to Nashville, we had the pleasure of experiencing one of our favorite hotels ever: the Thompson Nashville located downtown Nashville in the Gulch neighborhood.
Unrivaled swanky atmosphere
If you've ever had the fortune of staying at a Thompson Hotel, you'll know they're famous for their uber-cool vibes. When we first walked in, we mentally planned for a trip back down to the lobby for a coffee at Killebrew, the resident coffee shop with all the midcentury modern feels and subway tiles one could ever dream of.
The lobby itself was beautiful and the staff was unbelievably attentive. For design aficiandos everywhere, Thompson Nashville is a must-see. Oh, not to mention their beautiful restaurant Marsh House and their rooftop bar, L.A. Jackson (whatever you do, GET THE FROZE!).
Luxurious suite
We stayed in the Thompson Suite with rooftop views of Nashville, a beautiful sitting area and luxe full bathroom. If we had to pick our top three things about the room it would be:
1. The incredible midcentury modern decor
2. The black clawfoot tub (with bath salts included!)
3. And the contemporary bar area
This suite was absolutely gorgeous, comfortable, and stylish. We loved the Gulch neighborhood so much, walked around, ate delicious food, and didn't want to wake up and leave our room.
