Planning a pre-wedding shoot in Paris? Here’s what you need to know
Paris is one of the most popular locations for a pre-wedding shoot and it's easy to see why with its iconic architecture, romantic views and dreamy (and flattering) golden sunset light. If you're planning a wedding or an engagement shoot in the French capital, check out Parisian photographer and Fine Art Curation member Sandy Cluzaud who captured this chic editorial at Chateau de Villette.
Inspired by love, fashion and cinema, Sandy creates honest and elegant images that tell your story. "I aim to deliver meaningful and impactful memories through beautiful images and capture unforgettable moments for your future generations," explains Sandy.
How to arrange a pre-wedding shoot in Paris
Planning a pre-wedding shoot in Paris from afar can be tricky, so we asked Ariel Chiu Events, a boutique wedding planner in Paris, to share some top tips. "From the charming cobblestoned streets of Île Saint-Louis, to the multiple facades that the Louvre and surrounding areas offer, Paris is filled with an endless number of gorgeous doorways and spectacular views," explains Ariel. "It truly doesn’t get more magical than sunset on the Pont Alexandre III, overlooking the Seine River (le sigh)!,"
"Paris in the Springtime is unlike anything else — think an Instagram-worthy explosion of cherry blossoms and magnolias in full bloom. However, you also can’t beat the brilliant display of fall foliage in the cooler months (just make sure to avoid Paris Fashion Week)," explains Ariel.
Ariel adds: "Consider booking a private driver for your photoshoot. Parking in the city is notoriously difficult and Ubers and taxis are not always the most reliable if you are on a tight schedule. Last but not least, make sure to bring a change of comfortable shoes or you may find yourself at the Chanel boutique, in desperate need of a pair of classic ballet flats."
