Uninhibited Morning Of Bridal Session

Sep 07, 2016 | Bridal Style

We're huge fans of Ginny Au's Loom Curated method- pure and raw moments that just happen to be photographed. Today's 'morning of' bridal session feels wholly reflective, an emotion that rings true for any bride on the morning of her wedding. Elaine Chang beautifully photographed this gorgeous bride to be and we're just over here, enjoying the storyline...

From photographer Elaine Chang: "During this very intimate session at Ginny Au’s Loom Curated Workshop in the Catskills, we were invited to photograph a bride on the morning of her wedding day. Ginny teaches a hands-off philosophy of creative direction; rather than posing and controlling every movement of a subject’s body, which often results in stiff, lifeless images, photographers are encouraged to instead allow clients to move in their own natural way that would walk the photographers through a seamless story. In this session, we witnessed the bride’s journey of solitude, contemplation, and elation as she prepares for her big day. All of the minimal details—from the simple linens, to the neutral lingerie, to the rustic, chic furnishings—enhanced the beauty of this session and made for beautifully understated bridal inspiration."

Love the laid-back approach of this images. Very soft and Sunday morning-like.
