There is nothing more classic than Edwardian lace, but to add a touch of modern femininity to the look keeps this style fresh. From photographer Christine Clark: "Tropical boho meets Edwardian lace. The inspiration for this shoot was in bringing these two exquisite worlds together. We headed out at sunset to the fields of Oahu and shot in the dusty golden light, with Koko Head looking on from beyond. Passion Roots creative genius designed a dreamy, colorful bouquet, embellished with tomato plant and basil leaves. The bright colors and wild foliage were an imaginative complement to our gown's delicate Edwardian lace. Doris, of Maleana Cosmetics, swept our model's hair up into loose, romantic curls, highlighted with locally foraged florals. It was a lovely evening for a shoot, with ocean breezes sweeping across the field and warm light.”
