We're so incredibly thrilled to be heading to Moscow, Russia on 14th April this year with Pearl & Godiva to guest speak and judge at WFEST's WPRODAY day! We will be there to talk about all things social media, getting published, fine art style and branding plus Pearl from Pearl & Godiva will be styling an incredible editorial for a select few photographers on the 15th April and we just can't WAIT to see the results!

Our styled shoot is a result of a team work of talented and progressive members of Russia’s wedding community that got together to create it as a imagery campaign for the most prominent event in the industry - festival of stylish weddings - WFEST that will be taking place in Moscow 27th and 28th of February and Saint-Petersburg on the 10th of April.

The creative team under the supervision of Ksenia Korennaya, one of the founders of the festival and an established wedding planner from her NUANCI special occasion studio, chose eco motives and an elegant style thats reflects the vision of the WFEST team of how a wedding can look like if you think about every detail and stay true to your aspirations and values. The actual couple is a talisman of the festival. They met at a first photo shoot and some time after started dating. “It is sometimes really hard to create a true emotion during the styled shoot unless the models are actually in love”,- says Elena Oboznaya the founder of WFEST.

Since 2014 WFEST showcases the best talents from the scene and translates Western wedding traditions as well as some of the major influences from different fashion eras, all presented in an inspiring and innovative manner.

WFEST will see young couples who look for a celebration that’s about them, and not just about pleasing their families. They’re up for experiments and are looking for unusual solutions, but they are also keen on modern classics. There’ll be couples who have already got started on planning their big day, as well as those who’re only beginning to consider tying the knot.

an interactive wedding fair in a new and unique event format;
• a creative space where each participant can find a means of expression, and where every guest will get a wonderful opportunity to gather ideas for their wedding and meet with those who will help them bring those ideas to life;
• an exciting entertainment program with fashion shows by young and well known Russian, European and American designers, accompanied by cover bands and jazz-bands;
• an extensive workshop program that helps the guests learn about wedding preparations, witness the highlights of modern wedding industry and choose their vision;
• food tastings and a market by young design bureaus.

Live performances will add to the festival’s unforgettable atmosphere.
The list of participants will include established and such up-and-coming and innovative companies as White Chicks, fine art photographers Marina and Alexey Muravnik, event stylists Dreams and Honey whose works Wedding Sparrow readers have already seen on the blog pages.

WFEST team, along with their colleagues, strive to demonstrate the remarkable progress achieved by the young but extremely talented new representatives of Moscow’s wedding industry. One of the event’s main purposes has been to gather an outstanding community of unique wedding professionals.

On the 14th of April WFEST team will also hold a b2b event - WPRODAY - to which Sara is invited to be a speaker and judge within the upcoming WPRIZE - awards ceremony - to celebrate the most outstanding suppliers of the modern wedding industry and their achievements in this sphere.
