Abigail and Tyler’s Simplistic Wedding on a Shady Campground

Oct 05, 2017 | Weddings

Sometimes we, as a society, are guilty for putting pressure on couples to have the most lavish, "Pinterest-worthy" weddings, focusing on elaborate details and insane florals. Here at Wedding Sparrow, our hearts beat for love stories and the colossal step of marriage. By focusing on what truly matters, the wedding day details and photos naturally shine, just like beautiful Abigail and handsome Tyler's special day. In these pretty photos by Maggie Coletta, we're loving the fresh greenery for bouquets and the simple and organic, yet incredibly stunning decor as planned by Courtney Space Events! Abigail practically radiates with joy and Tyler is proud of his new bride... emotions that really give us all the feels...

From the bride, Abigail: "My vision for my wedding day was pretty clear from the start. Being a wedding photographer myself, I’ve had the opportunity to see so many different weddings up close. This helped me to realize that as lovely as details are, it’s the heart of the event that shines through and is remembered. The most important thing to Tyler and I was having God at the center of it all, just as we want him to be the center of our marriage. We both wanted a simple gathering that included lots of natural elements due to our love for God’s creation. The forest seemed like the perfect ceremony spot as it is where Tyler first told me that he loved me. As for the little details, I was raised on the 1995 Pride and Prejudice film and found myself taking bits of antique inspiration where I could. Some of the memories that are most special to me are the ones that involve our loved ones. My sweet mother dyed my antique veil white to match my dress, and my best friend did the bouquets and my crown even though she was a bridesmaid. We are so grateful to our thoughtful and sweet vendors. They did so much to make this day the most beautiful celebration of our union."

What a stunning colour pallet - the soft grey and natural greens are just lovely.

beautifully composed images and gentle desaturated tones.  more importantly credits to that videographer, this is what we actually need more of, proper cinematography! smooth steady cam footage, brilliant transitions and you can tell they genuinely put time in to the whole production.
