Ancient Grecian wedding inspiration in Virginia

Jun 20, 2022 | Inspiration

Inspiration for weddings can come from absolutely anywhere. Today's beautifully atmospheric wedding shoot was inspired by the textures and ruins of ancient Greece, and born from the dream of making the old feel beautiful and the heavy seem light.

"It took place at Salubria, an old home in Virginia, where the walls are still patinated from the years it has seen," explains North Carolina wedding photographer, Amanda Castle Photography. "After experiencing such hard years in the wedding industry, our goal was to create something that exuded artistry and beauty from things that aren’t always perfect."

There's much to inspire lovers of old-world romantic style, from the statement floral pillar and dreamy tablescape to the gorgeous Grecian style dress and hair accessories. Get ready to pin your favourite details!
