You know us... biggest fans of those neutral and grey/blue color palettes, guilty as charged! There is something to classic about muted colors that feel less trendy and more timeless. Ashley and Kris' muted color tones were a perfect match to the grandeur Clermont Historic Estate with the gorgeous gardens and historic structures. From Emily Dorman of Alp & Isle: "Ashley and Kris live in San Francisco and were planning a destination wedding in upstate New York. They found a beautiful, historic private estate on the Hudson River. The Clermont Estate has sweeping views of the majestic Catskill Mountains and provided a perfect and tranquil scene for their wedding. Their ceremony was on the Great Lawn, with their outdoor reception near the cobblestone terrace. Ashley looked stunning in her Theia couture gown and Kris dapper in his suit from Theory. Ashley is a graphic designer and put her mark on the wedding with her custom designed invitation suite. It was a beautiful and very emotional day for the couple, and they had the most perfect afternoon and evening for their outdoor wedding. At the tented reception, they had favors for their guests of little vials of olive oil, a vintage sideboard with all sorts of delectable summer pies, a whiskey station, and a sweet cutting cake. As the sun set over the Hudson River, the couple and I ventured out for a walk and captured some stunning golden hour portraits."
