California beach front wedding with tropical flowers
Darby and Nathan wanted their wedding to be a celebration of their faith as well as their love, and that's exactly what they achieved for their California beach front wedding at Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. "Our faith is most important to us, and we wanted that to be woven throughout the whole day," said bride Darby.
The couple worked with Amorology to create the feeling of a joyful outdoor chapel for their ceremony, with flowers in a rainbow of muted tropical shades lining the aisle and leading to a stunning floral archway, while white pew-inspired benches were adorned with poignant bible quotes.
Personal details were found at every turn, from striking custom signage and signature cocktails, adding style and character throughout the day. "I wanted it to feel like us," says Darby. For their first dance, the couple chose Ben Rector's 'It Would Be You.' "This song came out towards the beginning of the pandemic and is all about no matter what happens, being with your person is all that matters," she added.
