Chic modern Asian elopement with bright orange flowers
We love the carefree feel of elopements and the freedom of celebrating your wedding, your way, without the constraints of obligation or tradition. This concept is the inspiration behind this chic editorial from Hong Kong wedding planner and Fine Art Curation member, AF Atelier, who weaves in traditional Chinese design in a modern way.
"Given in Asia a lot of us are still experiencing some degree of lockdown and restrictions on weddings are still in place, a lot of our couples are hosting smaller, more intimate weddings," explains Alison, founder of AF Atelier. "Typically in Chinese weddings, the couples' parents get very much involved in the traditions and guest lists, yet now that weddings are on a much a smaller scale, couples have more flexibility to do it their own way. We want to reassure couples that intimate celebrations and elopements can be as beautiful as large elaborate events."
