Classic black and white winter wedding in Houston, Texas
Winter in Houston, Texas isn’t what you might expect with this stunning black and white wedding at McGovern Centennial Gardens. The sun was shining, the weather was warm, and everyone enjoyed this relaxed fun-filled celebration in a beautiful oasis in the city, captured by Texas wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Marni Wishart Photography.
Haley and Sam worked with Spell Events to create a stylish aesthetic that balanced masculine touches of black and white formality with softer floral details and modern details. From day to night, the space was transformed from an airy garden ceremony to private members club vibe for the evening.
Spell Events designed a cocktail bar style reception, which invited guests to linger, get comfortable in small group seating areas, and mingle from food stations to the dance floor, which was kept hopping with a live band. From the custom bar and signature cocktails, to the champagne tower and raw bar, each detail had guest experience at the heart of the celebration where family and friends celebrated in luxury and comfort, right up until the bubble send off.
