Colorful summer wedding in North Carolina mountains with coral peonies

Today we're featuring a social media influencer, but not just any influencer. Holden the Golden Retriever helped his owners Caroline and Evan through some incredibly difficult times so it was only fitting that he was honored in their gorgeous wedding in the mountains of North Carolina, captured by Asheville wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, McSween Photography.

Holden, who has quite the Instagram following from his bucket list adventures, featured heavily in the couple's wedding alongside his sister Sophie, taking part in the ceremony as well as appearing on their wedding stationery and having their very own signature cocktail.

The inspiration for their wedding was the breathtaking North Carolina Mountains, with pops of colorful summer blooms. Springvine Design created cheerful floral displays, including a stunning ceremony arch, featuring pink and coral peonies with touches of white, yellow and blue. Caroline wore a gorgeous Eva Lendel gown with a plunging neckline and all her bridesmaids wore Show Me Your Mumu blush pink dresses, in different styles.

Evan and Caroline also honored their late brothers in the special day, including a charm of each of their photos on Evan’s boutonniere and Caroline’s bouquet.

"This was one of our favorite weddings this year!" says Tanya McSween. "Their wedding at The Ridge Asheville was just perfect. The love these two emanated on their day was an incredible honor to witness."
