Country house destination wedding in Ireland
Life often has a beautiful way of working out and when Siobhan and Drew were forced to postpone their destination wedding in Ireland in 2021 due to Covid travel restrictions, they didn't let the pandemic delay starting their lives together. So they tied the knot in West Chester, PA, surrounded by our immediate families, and soon welcomed their precious son Cillian into the world. When they were eventually able to get married in Siobhan's beloved Ireland, where her mother grew up, Cillian was the tiny VIP and total star of the show.
"Siobhan and Drew's amazing wedding finally took place in Aug 2022 amongst the romantic rolling green hills of Borris, Ireland," explains their planner MartinaO Weddings "It was a three day event filled with so much love, laughter, family reunions and thankfulness. This love story was a perfect example of 'everything happens for a reason' and they wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
"On the morning of the wedding, the ballroom at Borris House, with its stunning exposed stone walls, was being transformed with romantic chandeliers, draping and floral arrangements to intertwine with the wooden beams. The ceremony took place outside overlooking the rolling green hills of Ireland to beautiful music by a string quartet.
"It was a hot summers day and the couple surprised guests with a traditional ‘Mr.Whippy’ ice cream, playing carnival music as it arrived and serving whipped ice-cream cones to help guests keep cool. Once the sun went down, The Pearls got everyone to their feet to dance the night away. It was such a happy occasion, with lots of memories and laughter being in celebration of not only Siobhan and Drew’s love, but the sheer delight of being together again and the arrival of Cillian, the VIP guest."
