Today's wedding features gentle, serene, and heartfelt moments. Beyond the gorgeous details, like the opulent candlelit tablescape, we fell head over heels for the photo of the groom fastening the bride's dress... love. Mary Dougherty beautifully captures this intimate Foxfire Mountain House elopement from a recent Jake Anderson workshop. Oh, and leave it to stylist Lacy Geary to dream up the loveliest details.. pull up those Pinterest boards, couples!
From Mary Dougherty Photography: "With a talented team of vendors gathered for Jake Anderson’s workshop this Catskills elopement came to life. In the frozen north of New York at the thoughtfully designed Foxfire Mountain House an intimate evening unfolded. The fireplace roared next to the table where flowers delicately arched and leaves foraged brought the outside in. A crisp balance of white, cream, gray and gold was at once a reminder of the brisk outdoors and an inviting embrace to stay cozy inside. Dressed in a light filled room at the Foxfire Mountain House our couple ventured outside to exchange vows and then came inside for the most delicious dinner of the year. It was everything you could want in a winter elopement, the perfect setting for a hidden getaway from the city and a memorable place to return to."
