Words from photographer Brian Whitt: "Our creative team was inspired by this quote from William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. To me, this signifies it is the littlest of nuances and gestures that are special to a couple - the way you look at each other and the rest of the world disappears or the way he runs his hands through her hair every time. There is a special bond and a shared connection that can only be known by two people in love. This is what I remember most when I think about love and I wanted to capture these moments of connection that are unique to Maja and Alex. This is the culmination of what makes their connection special.

This shoot features an intimate scene taking place in a styled bedroom where the couple enjoys a relaxing morning before what would be the excitement of their wedding day. They playfully snuggle and share freshly baked pastries and warm coffee in bed. While shooting, we gave them very little direction which allowed us to capture their authentic and natural interactions. The tender moments that occurred as they helped each other get ready, albeit nontraditional, are a loving sentiment of their relationship. Since Maja is a florist, flowers were immensely important to her and we wanted to showcase that with a thoughtful and unique table piece and bouquet. While viewing these images, we hope you feel inspired to get lost in the more honest moments of connection on your wedding day."
