Crazy Rich Asians inspired rehearsal dinner in Lake Como
We love a stylish rehearsal dinner, particularly one that celebrates the couple's cultural heritage in a stunning setting. Serena and Nik's pre-wedding soirée in Lake Como ticks all the boxes and then some! The first event of their Italian destination wedding weekend took place at the luxurious Grand Hotel Tremezzo, followed by their wedding the next day at Villa Balbiano — the film set of House of Gucci. We are obsessed with the vibrant pink and red color palette, which pops beautifully against the verdant gardens and mountainous backdrop of the lake.
Over to bride Serena to tell us more about their fabulous rehearsal dinner in Lake Como: "We welcomed guests to our first event with an Asian theme to honor our heritage and celebrate our multicultural families and friends. The decor drew inspiration from the famous Hong Kong movie 'In the Mood for Love' and the latest Hollywood blockbuster 'Crazy Rich Asians.' We held a Chinese tea ceremony in a Bougainvillea covered pagoda adorned by lanterns."
