Destination elopement in Granada, Spain with Pronovias gown
The beautiful Spanish city of Granada was the obvious choice for Melissa and Miguel to elope since much of their love story revolves around Spain. When planning their destination elopement, the couple wanted to embrace the character of the city and share their vows with a stunning backdrop, followed by an intimate celebration at a cute local restaurant. What could be more perfect?
Over to their wonderful wedding photographer and our Fine Art Curation member Olya Kobruseva to tell us more about this special destination elopement in Granada: It was that on the terrace of the gorgeous venue La Chumbera that Melissa and Miguel celebrated their love with impressive views of the Alhambra, one of the most visited historic monuments in Spain. It was also in the iconic La Alhambra where they had a pre-wedding photo session in the morning, enjoying the Arabic architecture and every corner of the impressive Spanish palaces.
"With the assistance of destination wedding planner, Mery Liccardi, the couple choose a neutral color palette to decorate their ceremony setting. Floral designer Alejandra Romero Floral Studio created an organic semi arch in full of elegant ivory blooms and lush green of foliage, which framed the couple and La Alhambra views.
"After the ceremony, Melissa and Miguel celebrated their union with a delicious cake decorated with delicate white flowers and a few glasses of cava (the local sparkling wine) under the gaze of the Alhambra. The newlyweds then drove to a local restaurant to enjoy Spanish cuisine and their perfect first Granada evening as husband and wife."
