Destination wedding in Tuscany with white peony bouquet

Today we're sharing a stunning destination wedding in Tuscany with the perfect white peony bouquet and heaps of special Italian details. Kelly and Ben married at Villa Montanare, a private Tuscan home on a hill in Cortona, where they hosted 80 of their closest friends and family for an intimate celebration among the olive trees, beautifully captured by Italian wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Anna Gianfrate.

Kelly and Ben chose a natural color scheme of green, white and soft yellow. The ceremony took place at the back of the villa overlooking the beautiful rolling countryside with amazing picturesque views of the Tuscan hills. The ceremony arch was made out of olive branches, with touches of white flowers, to complement the lush surroundings.

It was important to Kelly and Ben that the Italian atmosphere was carried throughout the day so following the ceremony, an Italian string trio played nostalgic Italian music. An assortment of local food was presented in in wicker baskets, and a traditional gelato cart served ice cream to help keep guests cool in the 30 degree heat.

The guests dined along two long banquet tables dressed with neutral linen tablecloths and napkins, ecru stationery and beautiful soft flowers displayed in terracotta pottery. As the sky got darker the olive trees lit up with twinkly fairy lights as the couple made a traditional Italian Millefoglie cake in front of guests. Kelly and Ben had their first dance under the canopy of lights, where their DJ played the night away.
