Disney-inspired fairytale wedding in Jacksonville, Florida
Bride Marilyn wanted a Disney-inspired fairytale wedding in Florida that felt like she was in a Taylor Swift music video and the planning team at Blue Ribbon Weddings achieved her dream and then some. "It was everything we could have asked for and more!" said Marilyn. "Tons of flowers, dark wooden furniture, exquisite plate settings and Edison bulbs giving off the perfect golden glow, all came together to create the most magical celebration at the TPC Sawgrass near Jacksonville."
Marilyn's fairytale aesthetic stems from her love for Disney, which she shared with her late father. While dress shopping at Kleinfeld in NYC, Marilyn fell for the Tiana dress from the Disney Fairytale Weddings Platinum collection, which was perfect in every way. The dazzling ballgown is covered in tiny blossoms and delicate vines, hand-sewn with thousands of sparkling sequins on soft tulle to creating the twinkling effect of fireflies at night. How dreamy!
The couple's biggest splurges were music and photography, two elements that were super important to them. Marilyn explains: "We knew we wanted a bad ass band! Our group or friends and family love to dance and The Hit Factory totally delivered and stole the show.
"Once the day is over you want something to remember it by. We chose Nate Puhr Photo and Cinema, whose amazing team captured memories that will last a life time. It’s hard to pick just one favorite moment from the day. The speeches, food, drinks, music, decor, photography and the company were everything we dreamed off."
