Elegant Italian Inspired Tablescape
What a way to start the week! Today's beautiful, lighthearted, and fresh Italian inspired editorial ignites the romantic in us all. We instantly fell in love with the pale blues mixed with the few pops of the plum color, then noticed the handwritten pieces by Wondrous Whimsy that added the perfect touch of whimsy. We could go on and on about the stunning film photographs by Jenna McElroy and each flawlessly styled detail by Eighteenth Avenue Events!
From photographer Jenna and stylist Ashley of Eighteenth Avenue Events: "Strolling through the serene 12.5 acres of the beautiful Garden Grove venue nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, one cannot help but find your mind to be transported to the Italian countryside. This beautiful venue inspired this entire Italian Romance shoot. The shoot is a beautiful ode to an Italian romance and this venue is definitely a hidden sliver of Italy hidden in the Texas Hill Country.
With this Mediterranean inspired venue and a soft natural color palette, we were able to create a beautiful tablescape featuring a candlelit farm style table with a flowing silk linen and ribbons by Pistils and Stamen cascading off the edges. Clementine created the stunning “off center” centerpiece, with a mix of greens with lavender and white floral to create add the perfect touch of romantic elegance to the table . This table set up was enhanced with purple gray napkins, silver candlesticks, vintage flatware, silver detailed china and chargers, from Marquee Rentals.
The small lounge area consisted of rentals from 10th Collection and created the perfect area for a cocktail. Wondrous Whimsy used gray and blue tones to set the mood with the whimsy and romantic invitation suite. The beautiful calligraphy was accentuated by The Mrs Box which held a beautiful diamond ring by Trumpet and Horn.
The wedding dress was created by Saint Isabel Bridal and was the perfect addition for the shoot. The dress donned a feminine style with the stunning lace texture on the sleeves and the open back detail.
Our model’s hair was by All Dolled Up in an understated romantic feel of loose waves with a soft natural look for makeup to perfectly accentuate the model’s natural Italian beauty.
Simply Delicious Custom Cakes and Desserts created the personalized Italian Villa cookies which had a picture of the venue on the front of each cookie, the macarons and the beautiful marbled cake. And what would an Italian shoot be without an Olive Oil Bar? Texas Hill Country Olive Oil Company Provided an amazing array of Olive Oils that was a delicious touch to our Italian Romance shoot.
Jenna captured the shoot in film to add to the overall emotion, and beautiful color palette. Film scans by the imitable Photovision. Ashley planned and coordinated the entirety of the shoot, and helped the entire vision of this Italian Romance come together. This was an incredible collaboration of creativity, design, style, history, culture, and love that is all tied up into this Italian Romance inspiration shoot."
