Elegant white rose wedding at Blue Bell Farm, Missouri
Lilly and Blake planned an elegant white rose wedding at Blue Bell Farm in mid-Missouri, fusing classic and modern details to create a beautifully personal day. The couple were drawn to the historic beauty and scenic setting of the charming venue, which is over 200-years-old and has been family-run for seven generations.
Lilly and her bridesmaids got ready at the historic cottage on the property, where she gave them a first look of her chic Justin Alexander gown. "It was such a fun moment seeing them so surprised and so excited," explains Missouri fine art film wedding photographer. "However, Lilly waited to see Blake as she walked down the aisle, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!"
For the ceremony, guests were welcomed with custom newspaper programs, complete with puzzles they could fill out, as well as an assortment of flower petals to toss as the couple exited the aisle. To end the night, their guests lined the pathway with sparklers and they took Blake’s dad’s vintage Porsche as a getaway car, complete with a ‘just married’ sign.
