Elegant white rose wedding in San Diego
Ina and Andrew met on a train in Morocco and love to travel the world together, so their wedding at Estancia La Jolla in California incorporated lots of global influences. "Artist Rebekah Nicole Ink created custom drawings of all their favorite travel destinations in a fine art, romantic style to complement the couple's romantic garden design concept," explains California wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Carmen Santorelli Photography..
Planners at Amor Atelier and Sweet Blossom Weddings created a lush, garden-inspired, neutral color palette of ivory and champagne with delicate pops of blush and terracotta to complement the venue. Epoch Design also incorporated a custom drawing of the garden courtyard at Estancia La Jolla into the invitation design with a custom envelope liner to signify the location of Ina and Andrew’s wedding vows.
Bloom Babes designed a lush asymmetrical floral arch to complement the natural arch feature at in the garden courtyard. For the reception design, the vision was to bring the outside in. with greenery dripping from the chandeliers and a romantic sweetheart table surrounded growing gardens and hedge walls draped with lush, organic greenery and florals.
"The wedding was an amazing day for both of us," recalls bride Ina. "It was wonderful, magical, fun, and everything we hoped it would be. We loved sharing the day with our family and friends. One of the very first things I did in the wedding planning process was to pick out a dress, as I knew that would be the starting point for many wedding-related decisions; in particular, the design.
"After trying on numerous dresses, I ended up falling in love with an unexpected choice: a Reem Acra ball gown. Strapless with a slit in front, with flowers embossed on it that could only be glimpsed up close, the dress was traditional and classic but still modern and fresh and it served as the first main design inspiration for the wedding (although Andrew didn’t know it!)"
