We titled this lovely couple's session emotional as we really connected with this couple. They feel vulnerable and comfortable enough to be with each other in the moment. While traditional photographs of the bride and groom smiling and formal family photographs are definitely keepsakes and VERY important photos, we can't help but feel like these emotional and raw images will be treasured forever. From Shannon Moffit Photography: "Gorgeous taupe-colored sand, shallow rocks, and quiet waves make up the beaches of Virginia Beach. For this styled elopement, we wanted to highlight the uniqueness and simplicity of the Virginia coastline and inspire couples who may not live in the most picturesque locations. First Landing State Park is a perfect representation of the Virginia coast, complete with grass-covered dunes and shallow beach inlets; this beach is not fancy or famous, but still beautiful in it’s own way. It was very important for us to reflect the feel of the beach, while also staying true to a fine art aesthetic.

From Tram Alvarado Events: "Inspiration for this shoot came from the Virginia Beach coast, where I currently call home. I will never get tired of the windswept shorelines and calming waves. For this shoot, I imagined a couple in an intimate setting, showcasing their love for one other with no distractions. Rocks and an open field overlooking the water served as the perfect location. I wanted the color palette to consist of beachy blues and grays, keeping all details simple. The gown chosen was a stunning Claire Pettibone, with a high neck and delicate lace."
