This incredibly stunning English Manor House wedding inspiration from WS faves Taylor & Porter, LA Happy, Michaela Roemer has us heading into the weekend full of romantic inspiration. And that honeymoon inspiration?! Perfection!
From stylist and florist Amber Persia: "Situated in the Cotswolds in England, Cornwell Manor, the backdrop for this inspirational shoot, has a relaxed grandeur, an undeniably romantic and refined English feel which is utterly timeless - it's was this mood that we wanted to both reflect and capture throughout the piece.
The draw-dropping beauty of the estate, which can be traced back to the Domesday book, not only set the tone for the day, but the overall design since we knew from the very start that we wanted the pool garden to be an integral part of the shoot, with its frivolity a wonderful juxtaposition to the elegance of the house, ballroom and gardens."
"An exquisite two piece by Spanish designer Cortana had the perfect combination of femininity, modesty and romance, whilst for the pool the look was fun and flirty, with a nod to the 1950s. The wedding table, laid out under an avenue of flowering cherry trees, echoed the relaxed and romantic feel of the gardens.
I was blessed to have an amazing team working with me; Louise from Taylor & Porter was a wonder, capturing every exquisite moment on film. Michaela Roemer's rings are truly stunning - simple, modern and elegant. Having had the pleasure of working with Sally from LA Happy before, I knew her work would be perfect for this piece and her illustration of the house captured the beauty of the house to perfection, whilst the recurring detail echoing the intricate plaster work in the restored ballroom had a refined simplicity; a hallmark I believe of this entire shoot.”
