Erin and Josh’s Texas Wedding with a Floral Arbor
Erin, Josh, and sweet little Scarlett are one beautiful family. Their wedding day was a mix of pretty and romantic details, like the gorgeous ivory and natural green bouquets by Maxine Owens and incredible Texan details as planned by Lisa Whitehead. We always love the romantic imagery that comes from the lens of Callie Manion and the light-filled, emotion heavy, and sweet shots didn't disappoint. One aspect of Erin and Josh's lovely wedding that truly made our hearts melt was how sweet little Scarlett was so included in everything, as she should be....
From Callie Manion Photography: "Erin & Josh are some of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met and they were an absolute joy to work with! Their love story started a long time ago and their wedding celebration was the culmination of the life these two have lived together thus far, along with their beautiful daughter Scarlett.
I also thought you would love the emphasis on details at this wedding. From the broach on Erin’s bouquet passed down to her from her grandmother, to the incredible floral arrangements by The Southern Table at each individual table at the reception, Erin & Josh’s details were really well thought out and perfectly intertwined throughout the day to tie everything together. One of my favorite details had to be the floral arch for the ceremony by Jacqueline Padilla, where they stood overlooking the most gorgeous view! The flowers gave that extra little touch to make the ceremony site truly amazing!
Not only was their ceremony beautiful, but it was also so full of meaning. I loved that Josh chose to walk down the aisle with their daughter Scarlett, to make sure she was included and to signify that Josh and Erin exchanging vows meant more than 2 people committing to each other—they were uniting their family.
I also loved that Josh and Erin chose to keep the bridal party small and only include family and Erin’s very best friend. It kept the wedding day feeling more intimate and relaxed and then allowed the couple to visit with all their extended family and friends at the reception.
And the last favorite moment of the day was their First Look. I have always loved First Looks because it lets a couple have a private moment alone to see each other, without a whole crowd of eyes on them. This usually results in a more genuine reaction from both the bride and groom—and this was exactly the case for Erin and Josh. They both had butterflies before seeing each other and the moment Erin came and hugged Josh from behind, he was able to let go and let his emotions flow. It was such a tender moment to witness and I thought it really spoke to Wedding Sparrow’s emotive and romantic brand.
Erin and Josh had a beautiful wedding full of meaning and everyone present could feel their love and what’s more—the love each of the guests had for this sweet couple, and their genuine excitement for these two finally saying “I Do”, was just palpable!"
