Fall Italian destination wedding in Tuscany
Kim and Yao envisaged a dreamy destination wedding in Tuscany, enjoying local wine and cuisine to a soundtrack vintage French Jazz as the evening stretched out against the early fall sky. When it finally arrived, their wedding day was all that they dreamed of and more and we know you're going to love every single detail, so beautifully captured by destination wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Carmen Santorelli.
Kim and her father arrived at the ceremony in a vintage white car to the cheers of their guests, tooting their horn as they reached the top of the long cypress-lined road. Against an idyllic backdrop overlooking the castle, Kim walked down the aisle to meet Yao amid clouds of ethereal white flowers. The design was stylish and organic to complement the lush Italian fauna, with two aged trees framing the view of the castle as the couple exchanged their vows.
"A special moment was our guests participating in the warming of the rings, where they passed the wedding bands around to imbue their well wishes and love into them before we exchanged them," explains Kim.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the herb garden, where they enjoyed antipasti and herb-infused cocktails. For the dinner reception, guests sat down to a red and white antique patterned table cloth with white framed plates and mother-of-pearl cutlery, decorated with displays of wild flowers and fruits, specially designed by Fluida Design, a floral and landscape artist.
After the couple twirled to their first dance, guests danced away the night to the bride’s favorite vintage french jazz band (Gatsby Follies by Jazz Around Midnight, who flew over from Paris and were decked out in full flapper dresses and suits) and a surprise DJ who kept the after party rocking late into the night.
