"The bride channeled the allure of old-fashioned prairie life with a flowered gown, loose ponytail, and light dewy cheeks..." -The Wildflowers

The 'allure' of prairie life indeed - there truly is a charm about slower living. Inspired by that slow paced farm life, today's feature is refreshingly beautiful. This beauty is by The Wildflowers and photographed by Natalie Shelton and we especially love the undone bridal look that translates so well to real bridal inspiration...

From Rebecca of The Wildflowers: "Down winding country roads lies Five Oak Farms, a secluded barn-style venue with authentic farmgirl charm. The rolling blue skies stretch as far as the eye can see, and a stark white barn and an old-fashioned windmill are the only manmade structures around. Our bride loved walking through the tall, soft grass in her lacy Ines di Santo gown, train trailing behind her. An unconventional ring by Trumpet & Horn mixed metals for a carefree and natural look that matched the deep oaks and light grass.

A massive oak tree was the perfect backdrop for her windswept updo and cascade of blush and crimson flowers with greenery interspersed. Raw silk ribbons were caught in the breeze and mirrored the bouquet’s playful elegance. Invitations by Loup Calligraphy were wrapped in matching raw silk. Inside, soaring ceilings featured metal accents and smooth wood floors for a modern yet antique look. A tablescape of crisp white linens, branches and flowers with a just-gathered feel, and handfuls of bright cherries offset the sophisticated silver flatware and black napkins. In her second gown, the bride channeled the allure of old-fashioned prairie life with a flowered gown, loose ponytail, and light dewy cheeks. From deep red apples to a dusty green bouquet, the outdoor scenes perfectly paired with the event’s indoor palette."
