Hannah and Chris’ Luxe Garden Wedding

Bride Hannah was one for design and we love her attention to the tiniest of details! In a sea of serene, neutral colors and clean aesthetics, Hannah and Chris said 'I do' in this lovely Florida wedding. Film photographer Cassidy Brooke snapped these joyous, light-filled images that mirror the sheer bliss that these two lovebirds felt during their big day. Below you'll read Hannah's recount of the wedding planning process and the day itself - be sure to pay special attention to the third paragraph where she gushes over the moment she got to hold her new husband's hand that day. From bride Hannah: "I wanted a light, bright, fresh and elegant wedding. When we found our venue we fell in love with the garden setting and I immediately wanted a white, elegant garden wedding. All my flowers were white with a lot of greenery. I think looking at bridal magazines and seeing the bright, creamy whites and ivories helped inspire me to create a similar vibe. I added gold accents for the element vibe but just enough so it wouldn’t be gaudy and dark. To be honest the way I designed my wedding is how I design my home. I love natural elements and bright, clean colors and I just always felt good about every detail I chose for my wedding. When it comes to design I wanted a magazine worthy wedding. The details were elegant and beautiful. I kept everything timeless but fresh and interesting. My florist really helped bring everything together. The arch was a stunning asymmetrical design with greenery and lots of white flowers. The centerpieces matched that design perfectly. When I chose details like my wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses I wanted a mix of soft, timeless elegance with a fresh trendy look. I had a custom bolero made out of the same lace as my gown and it was stunning. It really made the dress so different and went perfectly with the theme of the wedding.

We worked on many little details that we added to the wedding which were well worth it in the end. I created an all white candy buffet for our wedding. I rented a white sequined linen for the table which was a perfect way to make it sparkle and emphasized the clean white look.

The most memorable moment I have was when I got up to the altar and held my futures husband’s hands and looked at his face. He looked ecstatic. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so happy and it filled me with so much love and joy to see his face in that moment. The whole ceremony i just stared at him and knew I was the luckiest girl alive. The day was special because I married the love of my life, the most amazing man I’ve ever met. He was my inspiration for everything I did and everything I thought about when I planned our wedding. I wanted him to feel like this was us and to look back and think that was an amazing day.

For my dress, I had my heart set on a Hayley Paige gown that ended up not looking as good on as I had imagined. I went with some friends for fun and then moved to Florida where I then went with friends and family to a few boutiques. It took me a little while but I finally found all the elements I wanted in this one Jim Hjelm dress. I love everything about her designs."
