When it came to designing, L27 Weddings showcased pearls and dried flowers with a beautifully adorned chandelier by Sass Flower and an eye-catching dried flower wedding bouquet. From photographer, Emma Pilkington: "Inspired by the song ‘Pearls Dream’ by Bat For Lashes and the Spring 2020 bridal trends of pearls, black accent colours and voluminous details including frills and sleeve details.
With a contrasting light and dark moodboard the team put together a styled shoot full of neutral and warm tones, paired with timeless black and white studio portraits.
We wanted to give the modern bride inspiration to create wedding decor with both light and dark elements - using black which often isn’t seen as a wedding colour, teamed with the soft pearly tones, delicate florals and handmade stationery to keep it feminine."
