Intimate Tuscan destination wedding in Florence
Chandler and Angel's Tuscan destination wedding dreams came true at the stunning Villa Medicea di Lilliano in Florence. The couple travelled from California with close family and friends to host a beautifully intimate wedding weekend, captured by destination wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Liz Andolina.
Inspired by Chandler's time in Florence during college, the wedding celebration started with a pre-wedding session in the city and welcome dinner the night before the wedding. As an accomplished wedding florist and designer, Chandler designed her own wedding invitations to showcase the breathtaking fine art found throughout the city.
Tuscan wedding planner Alessia B Weddings and floral designer Flowers Living executed a beautiful design of old world Tuscany, with tones of plum, bronze and taupes, with touches of antique silver. Following their ceremony in a historic church in the center Florence, the couple and their families traveled to Villa Medicea di Lilliano for their cocktail hour and reception dinner. Aperol spritzes and a four course dinner, including the traditional millefoglie Italian wedding cake, provided a culinary delight for guests amid a stunning October sunset within the rolling hills of Tuscany.
