Italian Micro Wedding in Puglia with citrus details
Today's stylish celebration is what Italian wedding dreams are made of. A beautiful private villa in pretty Puglia; gorgeous bright florals with citrus details and a chic modern table setting. What more could one want from an intimate destination wedding in Italy? And the most amazing part? The planning and design were done by bride Kirstie herself, inspired by Italian summers. What an amazing job she did too!
"The setting at this beautiful private villa is mesmerizing," explains Italian fine art photographer George Liopetas. "The traditional Puglian property is full of fig and olive trees, and was the perfect backdrop for this fresh and fruity wedding."
The perfect mix soft colors with pale pink, peach, and orange plus pops of bright coral tied beautfully into the citrus theme, while the subtle washed blue linen tablecloth added an organic feel. Custom limoncello favors and the citrus decorated wedding cake paired seamlessly with the design. A private chef truly blew everyone away with a four course menu of homemade Puglian dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
"After the champagne toast, the father of the groom read out a beautiful, personal fairytale that he created for Kirstie and Niklas about their lives and journey together, as two stars in the sky. Something they will cherish forever. This along with the perfect setting during golden hour in the warm Puglian air, was nothing short of magical."
