Feb 23, 2018 | Inspiration

With the rise of social media (hello multiple Pinterest boards!) and blogs full of inspiration that's updated daily, it's no wonder that a lot of brides can be a little overwhelmed to say the least when it comes to their wedding style. Hooray for industry experts like photographer Allison Kuhn and stylist/planner Love & Honey Weddings who have created this serene editorial as inspiration of the less is more movement we're seeing more of this year. Taking wedding styling back to simplicity and more about your story, this is one for the Pinterest buttons...

From photographer Allison Kuhn: "We wanted to create inspirational images for brides to embrace a peaceful and simple wedding day. As brides approach their wedding, it’s hard to not fall into certain trends and allow their day to be chaotic, but wanted to show that simplicity can be beautiful. We wanted to tell a story from the bride in her robe waiting, to receiving a gift from her groom to be, to getting dressed, and then portraits."

From photographer Allison Kuhn: "We wanted to embrace the element of movement, wonder, and anticipation throughout the shoot. We picked the Wavering Place as a location because of it’s beauty and rich history. Kate Asire Flowers created the flowers on site to fit the scene. We were told of a ghost that is said to live in the house, and I felt like our images kind of have a ghost like feel about them in some ways. I thought it was a cool way to tie that history into the shoot."
