Kendall and Grant’s Snowy Winter Wedding

Nov 22, 2016 | Weddings

Kendall and Grant's wedding is snow laden and a picture perfect winter wedding. These two are completely adorable and have killer style, not to mention those stunning bouquets! We're warming up with this lovely real Colorado wedding, photographed by Shannon Von Eschen and styled by A Vintage Affair so grab a cuppa and be sure to read the details below...

From Shannon Von Eschen Photography: "Kendall and Grant wed in the Colorado mountain town of Estes Park. On a day where you can have record snows, freezing temperatures, or a blizzard in the mountains of Colorado, the sun came out for their January day!

Kendall wore a stunning sleeveless Reem Acra gown, but to stay warm on this winter day, she and bridesmaids wore a class fur stole. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous Sea Glass colored dresses from BHLDN with fur mittens handmade by the Bride's mother.

Robyn of Bare Root Flora, created the bride's bouquet using anemone, ranunculus, lotus pods, dried artichokes, scabies, garden and spray roses, several types of eucalyptus, dusty miller, and privet berry. And the Bridesmaids carried petite versions of the bridal bouquet that wowed even though tiny.

The ring bearer pillow was handmade by the groom's mother from her own wedding gown. It had also been used in the groom's sister's wedding a few months earlier.

During the ceremony, the couple did a knot tying ritual, and were wed by the Grandfather of the groom's sister-in-law. The couple also hired the groom's sister-in-law as their photographer. The groomsmen were all family: the best man was the groom's brother, and the two other men were the brothers of the groom's sister-in-law.

Cotton, lavender-filled hand warmers made by the wedding planner, Jessica Hearing of A Vintage Affair Rentals, and fleece blankets made by the bride's mother, kept the guests warm for the couple's outdoor mountainside ceremony. A hot chocolate bar, complete with peppermints, chocolate stirring spoons, & kisses also welcomed guests upon arrival.

A custom, framed glass calligraphy sign, created by Taryn Eukland Calligraphy, was used as the couple's program in place of individual paper goods so guests could instead keep their hands warm under blankets or wrap them around mugs of hot cocoa.

Just after the ceremony, there was a celebratory eucalyptus toss.

Guests found their seats in the reception hall with the delicate deckled edge calligraphy, hand-painted drink stirrers.

Custom napkins and coffee/drink stirrers were made to match the couple's paper goods and a sweet phrase the bride always said about her fiancee was embossed into these cute details.

The guest book was made by the photographer & the wedding planner using an Artifact Uprising book with the couple's engagement photos inside & questions with complimentary envelopes and note-cards for guests to answer about and for the couple. It was such a hit as it was so unique to the traditional guest book.

Guests enjoyed a decadent honey and lavender cake which looked perfect on the ruffled linen by La Tyvola."
