Kindred Sisters - Bridesmaid and Maid of Honor Inspiration
Brides often extensively plan the photographs they want of themselves and their significant other, but oftentimes their best friends, sisters, or loved ones can be forgotten! Just as your new husband or wife is (obviously) the most important part of your wedding day, the loved ones of yours that have provided you love and support with your relationship also played an instrumental role in the development of said relationship. Capturing beautiful photos with your sister or bridesmaids is something that we always remind couples of, because really... how sweet are these sister photos?
Not only are we reminded of the bond of sisterhood, but we love these emotive photos by Brian Whitt Photography from the recent Forage and Fern workshop by Magnolia Rouge. Although located in sunny California at Holman Ranch, we almost feel as though we're transported to ancient, crumbling walls in some exotic country! Read on for more inspiration by Brian...
From Brian Whitt Photography: "We were inspired by the beautiful bond of sisterhood at the Magnolia Rouge workshop in Carmel Valley, California. Our stylist and visionary for the shoot, Carrie Moe at Type A Society, wanted us to capture the meaningful connection between two sisters on a wedding day. A lifetime of adventures, trials and laughter cements a sisterly bond like no other. As the bride begins to get ready for the day, her sister is by her side sharing a favorite story that makes her wedding day that much more special and memorable. Weddings are time to call upon traditions that honor the ceremony, traditional or nontraditional it should just be special. And who is better than a sister to share these moments with. We hope you feel inspired to have the people that are most special to you around to celebrate your wedding day."
