Lauren and James’ Intimate Pippin Hill Wedding with a Butterfly Release
Where do we even start? We're so enamored with Lauren and James' beautiful, heartfelt, intimate wedding at incredible Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards that is both timeless and vibrant. Cly by Chung captured the moments of anticipation (sweet James watching his bride walk down the aisle!) and moments of longing for a loved one (wow, that butterfly release for the Lauren's late mother... sigh).
Beyond the sentimental moments, the design by Liz Brittle Events was lovely. The bright pops of magenta in the blooms by Blue Ridge Floral Design and Lauren's sleek Romona Keveza gown paired with the deeply meaningful butterfly shoes... so stunning (shop here). And we have to mention the remarkable hydrangeas around every corner... SO stunning.
From Haseok of Cly by Chung: "Lauren and James were wed at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards, a gorgeous winery and vineyard just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia, overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. One of the most important things to the bride and groom in planning this wedding was to keep it as genuine and intimate as possible. The first time James saw Lauren that day was as she was walking down the aisle, and he was absolutely stunned. During the ceremony, Lauren released butterflies in loving memory of her late mother. It was a surreal moment as she opened the box, and amidst the gasps of the guests, a single monarch fluttered out before being followed by the rest. Every detail of their wedding came together to contribute to a balance of contemporary and classic. Lauren wore a modern dress by Romona Keveza that, with its clean-cut silhouette and button details, matched perfectly with the atmosphere of Pippin Hill, and her bouquet harmonized beautifully with James’ tie in vibrant shades of pink. Their reception took place in a barn-inspired two-story hall with vaulted ceilings. Flourishes of the richest pinks and fuchsia harmonized with lush greens throughout, dotting rustic details and even hanging overhead the head table. It was truly a magical day, ending well into the evening with sparklers and the cheering of family and friends."
