Lena and Felix’s Cotton Anniversary
Are you aware of the traditional gifts by anniversary year? Well, Lena and Felix celebrated their second, which is traditionally the 'cotton', anniversary in such style. As beautiful Lena is the prowess behind Blue & Ivory, it is no surprise that their reflective and meaningful anniversary session was so delightfully put together. We love how these two decided against a fancy layered ball gown-type of session, but rather chose stylish and sleep streetwear, which adds a level of comfort...
From Lena of Blue & Ivory: "Like the interwoven fibers of cotton, the second year of marriage brings a couple closer together as their lives become increasingly intertwined. And as cotton is at the same time both strong and soft, the couple is learning how to be flexible and adapt to each other‘s needs.
Felix and I know each other since 10 years, a decade of love an joy but also growing up and building a life together. Two years ago we became Husband and Wife and this marked a huge milestone in our relationship. In the presence of your families and friends, we promised each other to let respect, support, patience, love and honesty define our marriage and never forget to build a team, laugh and have fun together. Honoring this second anniversary we went for a break from everyday life and celebrated our love with a few intimate hours breathtakingly captured by Ashley Ludaescher. Reflecting our time together and having a smile on our faces while thinking back on our wedding and the significant promise we made that day. But also looking ahead and expecting the future with joy and humbleness, willing to rise our marriage day by day, taking the steps of life together and let them lift us from moment to moment."
“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,
I love you simply, without problems or pride:
I love you in this way because I don’t know any other way of loving.”
― Pablo Neruda
