Lush, Organic Wedding Floral Inspiration
Florals are quite possibly one of our favorite elements to the wedding design - the opportunities for personalization are endless. Today's feature is a stunning display of lush, romantic florals and are described by florist Soil and Stem as a 'wild, feminine feel' and we completely agree. One of our favorite details has to be the slate blue silk ribbon by FrouFrou Chic added to the beautiful and simple floral crown....
From Nicole of Soil and Stem: "Our focus was on layering blooms with textured elements and gestural stems to create our lush, garden style hand-tied bouquets, centerpieces, arbor, and urns. I wanted to create a wild, feminine feel to pair with the local lush spring palette and this delicate1920’s silk gown from Shop Gossamer. So in teaching, I emphasized the importance of allowing our stems to breathe and seaming grow naturally in hand. Using this technique brings movement and a little dance to our spilly designs.
In natured-inspired floristry, I like to emphasize the importance of using locally sourced and foraged product- from the feathery spirea to the fragrant white lilac, and billowy blossoming branches. Bringing the indigenous nature into this industrial space brings a sense of wild romance, moment, and spirit.”
