Modern black and white city wedding in Ohio
We love a black and white wedding and seeing how couples interpret this classic color palette in their own unique way. Allie and Tyler hosted an elegant black-tie celebration at the Dayton Art Institute in Dayton, Ohio with heaps of fluffy white flowers alongside simple, modern decor. We adore how their contemporary design choices complement the beautiful brick and architectural details of the historic art museum.
"It was a joy to capture Allie and Tyler's wedding as they completely trusted me, which enabled them to be really be present and able to enjoy their day," explains their photographer, Fine Art Curation member, Marissa Belle. "It was a very hot day so we moved inside the museum for most of the photos, taking advantage of lovely lighting and neutral backdrop in the great hall, which looked stunning against the black bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos.
"I was really taken by Tyler's reaction on the day as I didn't expect him to show so much emotion whenever he saw Allie (for first look and then again walking down the aisle) and it was so sweet to see someone who on the outside appears a little more stoic to be such a softie and so truly in love with his partner."
