Modern black-tie city wedding in Chicago
We love a city wedding, particular one with chic minimalist fashion and a cool modern venue with views of the urban landscape. Catherine and Colin's Chicago nuptials are total city wedding goals and we love every single thoughtful detail, artfully captured by Chicago wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member Arielle Peters.
The couple tied the knot at the majestic Saint Cement Parish Church on beautiful fall day before taking a walk through the park to Rockwell on the River for their reception. The industrial-style venue was perfect for the contemporary vibe they envisioned, with exposed beams and brickwork providing a blank canvas for stylish modern styling, including a foliage wall with custom neon name sign, huge floral chandelier and a delicious donut wall.
We adore Catherine's understated bridal look with her elegant long-sleeved gown, white pointed-toe pumps and chic low chignon. Her bridal bouquet was a neat cluster of white roses, gypsophila and scabiosa 'blackberry scoop,' which perfectly tied into the dark slinky dresses worn by her bridesmaids. Every intentional detail makes this one seriously dreamy Chicago wedding.
